Highland Guild of Weavers, spinners & Dyers
Open Meetings
When?
Second Saturday of the month in Aug-Dec and Mar-Jun inclusive.
Where?
Strathpeffer Community Centre (Kinellan Room), unless otherwise stated.
What time?
10am-4pm (You can pop in anytime for any length of time).
Cost?
For the day, £5 for members and £10 for non-members (includes free tea/coffee/biscuits).
What should I expect?
Open Days are very relaxed. The group is usually sat in a circle which promotes chat if folk want to but if you just want to sit and craft that's grand too.
Sometimes we have a talk by a guest speaker or a focus such as show and tell where people can show what they are working on.
Do I need to take anything?
Just yourself and a cup if you want a beverage.
You can take your own craft to do, try something from our library of equipment or browse through our library of books/magazines. There is also the option to just come and have a chat too!
