Interest Groups

We have four interest groups:

  • Weaving Interest Group (WIG)

  • Spinning Interest Group (SIG)

  • Dyeing Interest Group (DIG)

  • Knitting & Crochet with Handspun Interest Group (KCIG)

 

Interest groups meet online regularly. They provide an opportunity for guild members who are interested in the individual crafts to share their knowledge and experiences together. It also provides a great opportunity for those who live further away to get involved. We have members from throughout the Highlands as well as other parts of the UK and even abroad!

When do they meet?

Weaving - Last Saturday of the month 10am-12noon (excluding Dec)

Spinning - 3rd Saturday of the month 10am-12noon (unless clash with Dornoch Fibre Fest)

Dyeing - Quarterly, 1st Saturday of the month 10am-12noon (Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec)

Knitting - Quarterly, 1st Saturday of the month 10am-12noon (Feb, May, Aug, Nov)
